Gender Equality & Audit
At Chembur Karnataka College of Law (CKCL), we strongly believe that gender equality is the foundation of a just and inclusive society. Objectives
- To promote gender sensitization among students, faculty, and staff.
- To ensure a safe, inclusive, and equitable campus environment for everyone.

- To comply with statutory guidelines and foster a culture of accountability and respect.
Key Initiatives
- Awareness Programs on gender sensitivity, equality, and inclusivity.
- Workshops & Seminars addressing issues like women’s rights, workplace equality, and prevention of harassment.
- Legal Aid & Outreach Activities focusing on gender justice and empowerment.
- Formation of Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to address grievances related to sexual harassment and gender bias.
- Encouraging equal opportunities in academics, leadership roles, and extracurricular activities.
Gender Audit
CKCL conducts regular Gender Audits to assess and strengthen gender inclusivity within the institution. The audit process involves:
- Reviewing policies, practices, and infrastructure to ensure gender responsiveness.
- Ensuring fair representation and participation of all genders in academic and administrative bodies.
- Monitoring grievance redressal mechanisms for timely and impartial resolution of gender-related issues.
- Evaluating the impact of awareness programs, workshops, and sensitization drives.
